Jeanne Ciravolo

Jeanne Ciravolo earned an MFA and was awarded the Cole Master of Fine Arts Award from the University of Connecticut in 2019. In 2020, she was selected to receive the Walter Feldman Fellowship by Ellen Tani, Assistant Curator at the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston, and in 2021, she was awarded 1st Prize in the Prisma Prize, 7th edition. Selected exhibitions include Ethan Cohen Gallery, Deanna Evans Projects, Odetta Gallery and LMAK Gallery, in New York, ARC Gallery in Chicago, IL; Manifest Gallery and The Butler Institute of American Art, OH; the Yellowstone Art Museum, Billings, MT; Coral Springs Museum, Coral Springs, FL; and AREA Code Art Fair, Boston, MA. The artist’s work is featured in Issue #5 of Rejoinder, a publication of the Institute for Research on Women at Rutgers University, in partnership with the Feminist Art Project. Ciravolo’s residencies include the Byrdcliffe Guild in 2018 and residency fellowships at the Anderson Center, Red Wing, MN in 2019 and the Hambidge Center, Raebun Gap, GA in 2021. Ciravolo is an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut.
