Anuja Mendiratta

Blood Orange Skin / Skin That Waits

Anuja Mendiratta, MES (she/her) works at the intersections of environmental, climate, gender, racial justice, and human rights issues. Anuja is a poet, gardener, and walker of this beautiful earth. Her poems appear in the West Marin Review, Under Currents Journal, and The Very Inside. New poems are forthcoming in various publications in 2026. The daughter of Punjabi immigrants, Anuja grew up amidst the wildflowers, cornfields and creeks of southwest Ohio. She resides on Ohlone lands in California.
